Fireworks are part of all celebrations; birthdays, weddings and anniversaries, Diwali or New Year, a business alliance, an election victory and so many more. Small fireworks can be displayed right in your own backyard and I really love those as you can enjoy them from a distance of as close as five meters and they are not so dangerous.
Larger fireworks displays need a larger space and many times the Town or City officials engage a stadium or a large open space to hold these public displays on special days such as New Year. Such displays have to be carried out by fireworks professionals. The whole town is intimated that such an event is going to take place, the time and the venue so that all citizens get a chance to see and enjoy the occasion. Usually this public show of fireworks lasts for about 15 minutes and includes fabulous aerial exhibition that is such a treat to the eye and fills one with joyous wonder.
Some people also engage professionals for display at weddings or to celebrate civil partnerships. These are private affairs with only family and friends included. If one wanted to give the other partner a surprise, the professionals manage to keep a secret and give a wonderful surprise at the right time. These professional fireworks can include set pieces with the partners initials surrounded by a heart, or the names of the persons or ‘25th Anniversary’ or ‘Happy Birthday’ or whatever is relevant or numbers or hearts etc. that are displayed on long timber poles and can be viewed from a distance. These brilliant pyrotechnics are available for all budgets and so can be enjoyed by all. That’s the best thing about these!
Other than professional fireworks, smaller displays can be arranged by anyone on any day. These days one need not wait for New Year’s Eve to buy fireworks. They can be bought on any day from special fireworks shops or also from online stores. However you have to be an adult to buy or possess fireworks and of course children should never ignite or handle fireworks except under the vigilant eye of their guardians. Manufacturers of fireworks almost always have instructions for use, warnings and alerts clearly enumerated with each pack of fireworks. These instructions should be followed to the tee for the sake of safety.
